Mr Inderdeep Singh Dhariwal

Non-Executive Director, IL&FS

Mr. Inderdeep Singh Dhariwal was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of IL&FS on April 29, 2025.

A distinguished officer of the 1992 batch of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), he has over 30 years of experience in public financial management, auditing, and governance. Since joining the service in October 1992, Mr. Dhariwal has held several key positions across various capacities and locations, both within India and on international deputation.

He was deputed as an ITEC Officer to Mauritius on a foreign assignment in December 2004, representing India abroad. In July 2008, he was promoted to the position of Accountant General and posted to the Office of the Accountant General (A&E) in Bihar, Patna. He later served as Principal Director (Inspection) in the Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India, New Delhi from May 2013. In March 2018, he assumed charge as the Principal Accountant General in the Office of the Pr. AG (Audit) in Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, and subsequently, in July 2020, he was posted as Director General of Audit, Eastern Railway, Kolkata.

Currently Mr Dhariwal is posted as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India
